Bringing Help and Hope from the Skies
Our Story- Responding to devastation in Western North Carolina
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, as roads remained impassable and communities were left isolated, a diverse group of volunteers in Hickory, North Carolina, came together to offer hope from above. With helicopters loaded with essential supplies—diapers, insulin, food, and water—we flew into areas unreachable by land, delivering aid to those trapped in the hardest-hit regions. What started as an impromptu effort, sparked by word of mouth and social media, soon became a mission of compassion, resilience, and teamwork. From Banner Elk to Asheville, our volunteer pilots, alongside search and rescue teams, have helped bring relief to the people who needed it most. We believe in the power of community, and our mission is simple: when disaster strikes, we fly.
