Operation Helo: Grounded in Support
These past weeks since our air campaign has ended we have been taking a different flight path! While we may not be in the air, our mission is still soaring high.
We've rolled out fully stocked and loaded campers to those affected by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. With the support of our incredible volunteers, we've delivered these vital shelters to offer comfort and hope amidst the devastation. We have been keeping our Facebook and Instagram pages up to date with our latest efforts. To date we have delivered almost 60 campers to those in need.
Swipe to see the journey—our hardworking volunteers, campers on the road to WNC, and the resilience of the communities we're committed to supporting. Every image tells a story of solidarity and the unwavering spirit of humanity.

Operation Helo: Important Update for Regarding Supply Donations
Sunday 10-November-2024
Firstly, Thank You to everyone who has generously donated supplies to support the people of Western North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helene. Your kindness and generosity have been incredible and truly heartwarming.
However, we want to share an important update:
All of the warehouses storing supplies in WNC are currently at full capacity.
While there is a surplus of most of the supplies right now, many individuals remain without homes and, unfortunately, have nowhere to keep additional items.
Here’s How You Can Help
We have established an Amazon Wishlist for our needed supplies for our WNC Housing relief efforts. Please check the wishlist for our ever changing needs, as it will be the most up to date.
Your ongoing support is vital, and together, we can continue to make a difference for those rebuilding their lives.
Thank you for standing with us and our community!

Our Story- Responding to devastation in Western North Carolina
In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, as roads remained impassable and communities were left isolated, a diverse group of volunteers in Hickory, North Carolina, came together to offer hope from above. With helicopters loaded with essential supplies—diapers, insulin, food, and water—we flew into areas unreachable by land, delivering aid to those trapped in the hardest-hit regions. What started as an impromptu effort, sparked by word of mouth and social media, soon became a mission of compassion, resilience, and teamwork. From Banner Elk to Asheville, our volunteer pilots, alongside search and rescue teams, have helped bring relief to the people who needed it most. We believe in the power of community, and our mission is simple: when disaster strikes, we fly.
